1: Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school.
2: 3+ years development experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
3: Strong communication skills: o Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. o Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. o Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
4: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
5: Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
6: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Summary of Duties: The SAF-Holland Project Manager – SAP, will manage one or more projects working closely with our business partners. He/she will provide day-to-day leadership to analyze the business requirements, develop designs, work closely with business analysts to implement SAP or other technical solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Manage an SAP upgrade/migration project or several smaller SAP project simultaneously
Experience with S4/HANA preferred
Work closely with SAP architects, technical teams, business analysts to deliver project scope on time, on budget and with high quality deliverables
Communicate effectively with clients regarding the SAP project, technology and functionality
Use SAP experience to develop accurate work estimates, project budgets and timelines
Ensure business partner satisfaction targets are achieved
Lead the delivery team, drive desired professional behaviors and motivate the team to the highest levels of performance and ensure that team resources have the best conditions to perform successfully
Exercise required controls and propose improvements as required, including quality plans, issues and action logs, risk management plans and change control plans, for all aspects of the assignment
Responsible for Statement of Work preparation, purchase orders, price quotes, vendor selection and other contractual materials as part of scheduling and deploying resources
Ensure business and assignment risks are identified, monitored and managed to achieve minimal disruption to the project delivery and success
2 to 5+ years of functional SAP project management experience in SAP CRM/ECC modules
10+ years of overall SAP experience in a functional/technical/user role with the ability to fulfil the role of a functional expert if required on a project.
Must demonstrate action-oriented leadership when faced with a project roadblock
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to be successful
Ability to clearly demonstrate the advantages of a proposed approach or solution
Ability to motivate and manage project teams as well as plan, execute and monitor delivery for self and others
Must be able to generate and communicate clear business reasons for implementing technical solutions
Motivated initiator with excellent mentoring and team development skills and make effective presentations and lead design workshops with clients/customer project teams
Must have good understanding of business processes, particularly a discrete manufacturing company
Must have excellent business partner facing and soft skills, solution oriented, looking for winwin opportunities
Must have experience in managing multiple initiatives
Experience with ITSM delivery model is highly desirable
Experience with Tier-1 consulting or SAP implementation partners is desirable
