Luxembourg, March 31, 2014 - SAF-HOLLAND, the leading supplier for the
global truck and trailer industry, has announced the opening of its Parts
Distribution Center (PDC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The existing storage
capacities have been expanded and equipped with modern technology, creating
a central warehouse. From this location, future customers in the Southeast
Asian market will have access to the entire range of products available
from SAF-HOLLAND original spare parts as well as from the second brand
SAUER Quality Parts. This will bring SAF-HOLLAND closer to achieving its
strategic goal of continuously expanding the global service and spare parts
business in the aftermarket division.
In addition to the successful acquisition of the bus suspensions
manufacturer CORPCO Beijing Technology and Development Co, Ltd in January
2014, the successful expansion of the Parts Distribution Center is a
further step for SAF-HOLLAND in expanding in and developing the important
Asian market. The expansion of the Parts Distribution Center in Malaysia to
1,400 m², means that customers in the Aftermarket division will benefit
from improved spare parts availability, shorter delivery times and
simplified order processing.
