SAF-HOLLAND CFO Wilfried Trepels to leave the company at the end of 2016
Luxembourg, September 5, 2016 - After more than eleven years of service, Wilfried Trepels (52), CFO of the SAF-HOLLAND Group, will leave the company as of December 31, 2016 to assume the role of Chief Financial Officer at Munich-based Wacker Neuson SE. Mr. Trepels is departing on very amicable terms with both the Board of Directors and the Management Board of SAF-HOLLAND S.A.
The Company is in the final stages of signing on a new CFO. During the transition period until the new CFO takes office, Dr. Martin Kleinschmitt, Member of the Board of Directors of SAF-HOLLAND S.A., and Member of the Executive Board of Noerr Consulting AG, will temporarily assume the position as CFO. Dr. Kleinschmitt has been a member of the SAF-HOLLAND S.A. Board of Directors since April 25, 2013 and has worked closely with the company since 2002 giving him in-depth knowledge of the company's strategic imperatives and corporate processes. He also previously held an interim position as a member of SAF-HOLLAND's Management Board from 2002 through 2004 and 2009 through 2010.
The Board of Directors would like to expressly thank Mr. Trepels for his longstanding, excellent service and particularly for his key contribution to structuring the Group and preparing it for continued profitable growth under Strategy 2020.
