Location: Dumas, AR and Wylie, TX
Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Reports to: Plant Manager
SAF-HOLLAND, Inc. is currently seeking a Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Manager for our Dumas, AR facility. This position is based in Dumas, AR and will have minimal travel required.

As a Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Manager you will:
Manages the industrial and manufacturing engineering functions for the facility.
ME and Industrial engineering functions include, but are not limited to time and motion studies, plant layout, bills of material structure production methods and cost reduction.
Manufacturing engineering functions include but are not limited to machinery specifications, process and production methods, jigs/fixture requirements, and material handling methods & machine center programming.
Work as Champion for the LEAN program to implement and drive LEAN activities.
Provides strong leadership to direct reports.
Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Manufacturing Engineers and Manufacturing Engineering Technicians, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance and providing employees timely feedback on performance issues; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
The successful candidate will have:
Bachelor’s Degree in industrial engineering or other technical discipline,
Five years progressive experience in a manufacturing environment,
Two years supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Lean Black Belt and/or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
Must have good under-standing of KPIs and Shop Floor Management objectives.
