Reports to: Director – Financial Planning & Analysis
Salary Grade: 105 - Exempt
Qualifications Required:
Qualification 1: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field;
Qualification 2: Three years progressive experience in pricing or related field;
Qualification 3: Strong knowledge of Accounting, Pricing and SAP is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualification 4: Ability to use a personal computer with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Word, and advanced knowledge of Excel. ERP experience and an overall understanding of ERP process flow
Qualification 5: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Qualification 6: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Qualification 7: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Summary of Job Duties:
Works with SAF-HOLLAND, Inc. customers and multiple SAF-HOLLAND, Inc. departments (i.e. Sales/Customer Service/Finance/Marketing) to identify, understand, and implement pricing/sales order/sales reporting/customer master activities in SAP.
General Pricing
- Loads and tests all Americas pricing.
- Tests all price configurations for accuracy by monitoring sales orders and schedule agreements.
- Works with OEM customers to ensure customer acceptance and proper documentation has been presented for pricing change.
- Analyze and resolves all price discrepancies on sales orders, between P.O. price and SAP price.
- Prepares and facilitates scheduled and unscheduled price changes (resulting from Long Term Agreements, Raw Material Adjustments, etc.) by analyzing and collaborating sales and profitability information within the Org Unit - Americas.
- Documents price changes and customer acceptance.
- Implements special pricing requests.
- Documents and maintains all Price Administration work instructions.
- Collaborates across departments to help develop, evaluate and apply pricing strategies and procedures.
- Aids in the completion of Aftermarket price file analysis and review.
- Creates Price files for all Customers, insuring accuracy and deadlines are met.
Information & Reporting
- Facilitates between departments (Customer Service/Finance/Sales/Marketing, etc.) to ensure pricing is accurate.
- Responsible for creating reports for: Sales, Customer Service, Management, and Pricing.
- Works with Customers/Account Managers/Accounts Receivable to identify and resolve price debits.
- Creates sales/cost/margin analysis with business units to show impact of cost, price, and raw material changes.
- Collaborates with Plant Cost accounts and Financial Analysts to obtain and provide accurate data.
Customer Master
- Responsible for setting up and maintaining all America’s region accounts.
- Creates email invoicing as requested by customer.
- Reviews and revises SAP Customer Master Data (i.e. Sold-To, Ship-To, Buyer and Payer accounts, Carriers, Customer Class, Customer Hierarchy, Price Group, Price List, Payment Terms, etc.).
- Audits accuracy of Customer Master information.
Intercompany Pricing
- Supports and maintains Intercompany (I.C.) pricing.
- Communicates I.C. pricing with all I.C. partners.
- Documents I.C. pricing processes/procedures.
- Reviews pricing for changes in standards.
Training
- Responsible for training of Sales team on how to: Run reports, check list prices, discounts and net prices, as requested by Sales team.
