While working closely and in concert with Location Management, manages the human resources functions for the facility/office. Human resource functions include but are not limited to: implementing SAFHOLLAND HR policies; management of all employment related activities; employee and labor relations; compliance and loss prevention; training and development; wage and salary administration; organizational planning; benefits and retirement plan administration; and providing miscellaneous administrative/accounting service.
Responsible for developing and implementing Sourcing Strategies for Indirect Commodities with focus on meeting and exceeding cost reduction, quality and delivery goals for all SAF-HOLLAND North America manufacturing locations. Establish relationships with Strategic Vendors to negotiate high quality products and services at the lowest possible cost. The Commodity Manager - Indirect will manage all indirect commodities and services including packaging, MRO, capital equipment, logistics services and other indirect services, working closely with multiple SAF-HOLLAND plants and cross functional teams.
Responsible for developing and implementing Regional and Global Sourcing Strategies for assigned commodities with focus on meeting and exceeding cost reduction, quality, delivery and product launch goals for all SAF-HOLLAND manufacturing locations. Responsibilities may include regional and global project assignments. Establish relationships with Strategic Vendors to negotiate high quality materials at the lowest possible cost. Manages supplier evaluation and formal development process. In addition, the Commodity Manager will participate in cross-functional teams, account assignments, or asked to provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced employees.
