SAF-HOLLAND, Inc. is currently seeking an innovative and technology focused Senior Industrial Engineer for our Dumas, AR facility. This position is based in Dumas, AR however will travel 50-75% of the time and could include international travel.

As a Senior Industrial Engineer you will report to the Director of Manufacturing for the Americas and serve as a subject matter expert for optimization projects, project baseline measurements, and provide recommendations for workflow improvements.
Facilitates, participates in and leads cross-functional teams;
Provides leadership to the manufacturing facilities to improve their overall performance, production, service and quality by performing problem analysis, engineering and re-engineering a wide variety of business processes across multiple lines, measuring processes to ensure they remain current, are efficient and measurable, possess a high level of usability, and meet audit standards.
Develops engineered work standards and work targets, introduces 5S/Lean principles throughout all physical business workflows, and acts as a change agent promoting a continuous improvement culture that strives for operational excellence.
The successful candidate will be will be a self directed and someone that can lead a diverse group of teams. Candidates must also have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and 5 years related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced applied knowledge of manufacturing processes and methods including APQP, DFSS, DFM, flow, layout, assembly and production equipment.
4 years demonstrated experience in leading teams and fostering highly collaborative work environments, championing innovation, and advancing the capabilities of high performing teams
4 years of experience utilizing process improvement methods including statistical problem-solving techniques
4 years of demonstrated experience in leading and facilitating teams to deliver quantifiable process improvements/savings through project coordination of quality objectives and activities that resolve production problems, maximize reliability, and minimize cost
Green or Black belt Lean Six Sigma Certifications preferred
