Qualification 1: Bachelor’s degree in related field;
Qualification 2: Six years’ experience in manufacturing environment;
Qualification 3: OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualification 4: Lean Black Belt and/or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
Qualification 5: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, supervisors, and managers.
Qualification 6: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Qualification 7: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Qualification 8: Ability to use a personal computer; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
Summary of Duties:
Leadership of assigned manufacturing departments. Work with product development teams to ensure optimal integration of product and production processes. Create and maintain a work environment consistent with long-term employee satisfaction.
Responsible for planning for manufacturing plant capacities.
Implement and drive LEAN activities.Works and acts as Champion for the LEAN program.
Understands and supports plant KPIs and Shop Floor Management objectives.
Deploy Hashin Kanri approach.
Participates in plant safety committee meetings and supports the safety program and initiatives.
Directs the manufacturing team to achieve established targets of excellence in customer satisfaction and to achieve the production plan.
Participates in the necessary activities and procedures to collaborate the cross-plant improvements of manufacturing methods.
Participate in the process of capital equipment and facilities planning.
Responsible for directing plant-manufacturing performance to established standard costs.
Participates in plant human capital management.Key management goal setting.
