Reports to: VP Strategic Sourcing (Americas)
Qualification 1: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics Management, or Industrial Engineering;
Qualification 2: Minimum five years of relevant logistics, transportation, international customs and trade compliance experience;
Qualification 3: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualification 4: APICS certification is preferred.
Qualification 5: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write re-ports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Qualification 6: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Qualification 7: Ability to use a personal computer; working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Prior use with Microsoft Project is a plus. Hands on experience with a TMS (Transportation Management System) and GTS (Global Trade Services) is preferred. Experience with SAP ERP system is preferred.
Qualification 8: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Summary of Job Duties:
Primary responsibility is to drive compliance, cost and service (internal & external) improvements across the Americas region by working closely with logistics partners, suppliers, and internal cross-functional stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and develop innovative solutions. Will analyze transportation and trade compliance data, identify areas for opportunity, propose improvement plans and execute implementation.

Manages up to a few employees in the office/administrative area. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
