SAF-HOLLAND and SAG Motion Group (SAG) launch cooperative operations in Brazil
* SAG and SAF-HOLLAND product synergies increase market opportunities with

Bessenbach, Germany, September 25, 2012 - SAF-HOLLAND GmbH has announced an
agreement with SAG Motion Group (SAG) to launch cooperative sales and
marketing operations in Brazil. The management of SAF-HOLLAND and SAG have
recently signed an official cooperation contract outlining joint business
activities in sales and marketing, as well as the sharing of administrative
operations. The installation of a SAG subsidiary, in close proximity to
SAF-HOLLAND do Brasil manufacturing and administrative facilities in
Jaguariúna, São Paulo State, Brazil, will begin immediately. SAG has
already secured contracts to supply OEM aluminum fuel tanks for truck OEMs
in Brazil beginning in 2013.
'The cooperative agreement between SAF-HOLLAND and the Salzburg Aluminum
Group provides an excellent opportunity to take advantage of the possible
product and marketing synergies that exist between the two companies,'
said, Detlef Borghardt, CEO of SAF-HOLLAND, in a recent comment on the
cooperative agreement between the two global companies.
The cooperative agreement has also been designed to lower operational and
administrative costs for the two companies in their efforts to penetrate
the Brazilian marketplace. The agreement leverages SAF-HOLLAND's strong and
growing market presence in Brazil with the introduction of the
complementary line of products provided by SAG. The combination of these
two factors opens the door to opportunities for increased sales and market
share of Truck and Trailers OEM customers in Brazil.
SAG is an international supplier of high-performance aluminum components
and systems for a wide range of industries, including the transportation
industry. The company was established in 1898 and conducts global
operations from central Europe, with locations in Lend and Ranshofen,
Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden, France, Slovakia and Mexico - along with
an extended global network of sales partners.

SAF-HOLLAND, a global leader in the manufacturing of coupling products,

investment and expansion saw the beginning of local manufacturing of fifth

new office facilities in Caxias do Sul, to provide additional sales,
service and applications engineering operations, for its customers in
southern Brazil.

The official cooperation contract, outlining joint business activities in
sales and marketing as well as the sharing of administrative operations
between SAF-HOLLAND and SAG Motion Group (SAG), was signed by Dr. Karin
Exner-Wöher, CEO SAG Motion, Wilhelm Schnedl, CSO SAG Motion, Detlef
Borghardt, CEO SAF-HOLLAND and Rogerio Ramos, CEO SAF-HOLLAND Brazil on
September 21, 2012.
